Train him to go in the woods and or the toilet and than you would never have to worry about it again. Nothing is impossible with the Hixson's
You should always pick up after him. It makes the yard up-keep easier and they think that you picking up after them is a sign that you like what they did so it helps with potty training. Also, when he has an accident inside DO NOT pick it up in front of him because it makes him think he did something good.
