Happy Birthday Baby Girl.......

We had a fun night at the American Girl Bistro with our girls, Deanna and Katie!!  Pete was a trooper and enjoyed himself as well. There were a few other men in there tonight!! We missed you, Jake.  I know after all the girly-ness the past few days, he is looking forward to the men's conference this weekend!! 

I can't believe we have a 4 year old and a 6 year old now.....that makes me feel so old!!  I'm still trying to cope with the whole "30" thing!

The Royal Party!!

Last night, we celebrated Addie's 4th Birthday with a Princess Party!! We all had a blast.  All the little girls came dressed as princess' and they all looked so adorable.  We had a yummy buffet set up for the children (Addie's request) and lots of yummy cupcakes, cookies and desserts (thanks to my 2 sister-in-law's)  

The best part of the evening by far was Pete!! He was dressed as "Prince Peter" and he provided lots of entertainment (as you could imagine) Isn't he a good daddy to do that for his little princess? 

I can't believe my baby is turning 4 on Wednesday.  It seems like yesterday that we were coming home from the hospital with a new baby!  Now she is a preschooler!

Best Breakfast Ever!

That's right, yesterday morning Mrs. Ozell made us an amazing breakfast!!  Don't tell anyone, but she turns 90 this year!! She is such a precious lady and we love Alton as well!!

They are so faithful to Vinings Lake and they are some of our biggest cheerleaders! Alton would love to tell you some war stories! They make me miss my Nonnie & Papa.

Fun Monday!

We had a fun day with the kids on Monday.  I have been trying to get Hope to get her ears pierced for the past few years and she kept telling me no, until last week!! She was ready (and I didn't want to make her) So, yesterday we went to the mall and she did cry but was such a big girl and stopped right away and is adorable with her little diamonds!! Lucky Pete- he has 3 girls to buy diamonds for!!!

It was fun to have daddy all to ourselves on Monday!

Since the kids were out of school on Monday, Hopie spent the night with her cousin, Carter, and Ava spent the night with Addie!!  They had a fun time together giggling and playing pretend everything! They are already Hannah Montana fans and they were so cute rockin' out to her tunes!!

We had another fun day and actually went outside and played in the snow!  We went to Waffle House for breakfast (saturday tradition) and when we got home, it looked about as close as you get in GA to a "winter wonderland"

Are we having church tomorrow??????  Well, I don't know the answer and Pete doesn't either yet.  He's going to make the decision later on today!

I'm very excited to have joined the world of Mac users and I just found the photo both!!

We had a great night with some friends that we do not see that often anymore since we left Woodstock at one of my favorite restaurants- The Melting Pot!!! 

We are now home getting ready to see if we have more SNOW tomorrow.  How cool would that be- twice in one week?

Pete informed me today that his blog was about to get very interesting (i think we gave him a complex)  By the way, if you see him, tell him to keep his hair long.

I better go now since I have have let you in on my exciting start to the weekend!

OH, if we are not snowed in, Hope wants to get her ears pierced tomorrow.

Last night we were playing around with Pete's new Mac (thanks to our BFF, Cody.....seriously) and I realized that we will never be able to go out or leave our house again.....Why? Well, any evening after about 6pm you will find our entire family playing games on the Wii (come over and try to beat Hope bowling) and now this computer!!!

Anyways, we figured out how to look at the stats on my blog and we have had over 15oo visitors just this month!!! OK, well the majority of our readers have made their way over from the Vinings Lake site through Pete's blog, but still..........I have my comments open, so send over some blog love (leave a comment!)

Long time- No post!!

So, things have been pretty crazy since my last post. We got home from Gatlinburg and got the Christmas decorations down, the gifts put away, celebrated Pete's B-day with some friends (playing Wii for way too many hours in a row) and got re-packed. Addie and I left with my sweet friend Jennifer and my parents for our yearly trip on the Bible Cruise last Monday. Pete took great care of Hope and they had a fun time while were were gone. We spent 3 days in the Bahamas where it was 80 degrees and sunny! I will post some pictures soon.
We are back into the swing of things now. Church was GREAT yesterday. Pete did such a fantastic job and there were LOTS OF NEW PEOPLE there. We have some of the most awesome people there. If you are looking for a church in the ATL area.....look no more.....come to Vinings Lake!!
I'm sitting here watching the news and they are calling for possible snow?? Better stock up on food!!
