Addie's new video camera

Here are a few pictures that Addie took over Christmas with her new video camera. It takes still picts as well. I will post one of her great videos once I figure that out. On Christmas night, we looked at her camera and she had taken 152 pictures!! Yes, that's my girl.....

Happy 33rd Pete!

I'm a little late posting since Pete's birthday was yesterday, but we were busy traveling to Gatlinburg!
HAPPY HAPPY BITHDAY!!! I love you so much and I'm so proud to be your wife.
You are the best husband, father, pastor, friend......I could go on.
We are about to go to a nice dinner here in the Mountains to celebrate then we are off to spend the rest of the evening with 6,000 screaming teenagers for several concerts!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating the birth of our Savior!!

We have had a very festive 3 days with our family and close friends. Sunday it all began with a great Christmas service at Vinings Lake. Sunday night, we had a huge dinner at my mom's house complete with carolers on the front porch half way through our evening! We sang jingle bells in rounds (well, maybe just I did) Katie read us the Christmas story and Hope sang Happy Birthday Jesus. After that we exchanged gifts and believe it or not my father stayed awake the entire evening!!


On Monday evening, we were able to enjoy the Christmas Eve service at Woodstock then headed over to the Hixson's home for yummy appetizers. After stuffing ourselves, we went to Heidi and Craig's home for more great food and lots of desserts!! We had a great evening there as well. Brian & Jen joined us for Christmas Eve and I guess you could say it's becoming a tradition!!!


This morning, Santa came to visit our home and left the kids a note thanking them for the cookies (that Heidi made!) and dropped off MORE gifts!!


We had lunch at my mom's house today and had a surprise visitor drop by!!!


We have had a great Christmas weekend and are so thankful for our family, friends and all that God has blessed us with! Now, we are getting all ready for our 11th year in Gatlinburg for Winter Xtreme!

29 FOREVER !!!

This is the story of my last day of being 29!!! On Wednesday, I had plans to have lunch with a couple of girlfriends then go get my hair cut then I was going out with Pete for my birthday (nothing major since we just went to Vegas to celebrate)

Well, I arrive at 3-13 salon to check-in and the girl at the front asks me if I am there for my "up-do" and I say "no, just a hair cut" and I go sit down in the chair and my hairdresser tells me that she has strict instructions on how to do my hair and I could not ask any questions........well, about 30 minutes later, I have a huge 80's up-do. I could not stop laughing and Pete would not tell me anything. Once I get home, Pete is getting dressed in his leisure suit and a few minutes later Katie and Cody arrive dressed crazy as well. I still had no idea where we were going. She hands me a dress to put on and luckily it fit!! A few minutes later, the Fur Bus is in my driveway (which I am obsessed with) and 8 of our friends are on it totally decked out!!!

We rocked out on the bus and drove around for a while then went to Starbucks. Pete kept telling me that we were about to pick up some more people and I figured we were going out somewhere. Well, about an hour later, he puts a blindfold on me and we arrive at my "Prom"

I was SO SURPRISED!!! All of my friends were there dressed crazy and with crazy hair and makeup. We arrived right in time to be named Prom King and Queen!!!

We had such a blast. Pete, Dee, Mom & Dad did a great job not letting me on to anything they were planning.
Memories were definitely made!!!!

Vegas Baby!!

We had a blast in Vegas and got in late on Saturday night. Thanks Pete for a wonderful 30th birthday trip. The Venetian was beautiful (where we stayed) We made lots of fun memories.
